Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our client Rio Tinto in their Central Park office for a 6 month duration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collation of existing HSEC Compliance Permits/obligations and inspections

• Working with IO SMEs to identify internal and external obligations, tasks and accountabilities

• Facilitate HSEC inspection review and consolidation opportunities

• Co-ordinate obligation and inspection upload processes, including working with the HSEC team at Oyu Tolgoi

• Work with SMEs to ensure accuracy of master data (eg. org units, work areas and equipment lists) and design reports and dashboards in Eablon and PowerBI

• Support bulk close out of open incidents and actions

• Identify issues or enhancements with current modules in Enablon, and working with the Program team to resolve.

Skills and Experience

• Be familiar with operational and functional HSEC requirements and impacts

• Be familiar with HSEC compliance permit structures and/or HSEC inspections

• Preferred experience designing reports, dashboards and visualisations

• Good organisational and communication skills

• System implementation and data migration experience will be favourably considered
