About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HV Mechanic to join our team in Hume, ACT. As an HV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role is critical to supporting our transportation and infrastructure projects.

What you will be doing:

• Strong fault-finding skills and breakdown support.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.

• Collaborate with the team to improve maintenance processes and protocols.

What you need:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.

• Proven experience as an HV Mechanic, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.

• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to use a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Current driver???s license (HR license preferred).

• Provide 2 workplace references

• Provide right to work documents
