Industrial Painter

  • Ongoing - Temp to Perm opportunity!

  • Location: Mt Thorley

  • 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday!

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Painter to join our team at our clients Mt Thorley facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of industrial equipment and structures, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our clients rigorous standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.

  • Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings to surfaces.

  • Use various painting techniques and tools, including spray guns, rollers, and brushes.

  • Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality and durability standards.

  • Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.

  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Painter, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.

  • Proficiency with various painting tools and techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.

  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to painting.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
