ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Located only 120km from Mackay, our client is one of Australia's largest coal producers, who operate open cut and underground coal mines. Our client is a responsible miner of coal with a track record of excellence in environmental management. Hail Creek is a producer of both hard coking and thermal coal, using a Truck and Shovel operation. They are a community driven enterprise with investment in local communities such as Mackay, Nebo and Sarina.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Seeking an experienced Civil Operator (Backhoe, Skid Steer & Excavator) who preferably has a trade background (plumber, refrigerator technician or electrician) for an ongoing role. You will be working 12.5 hour shifts on a 7/7 day shift roster. This is an ongoing role and is available for residential and DIDO/BIBO candidates. Camp and meals with leading facilities provided.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
*Previous civil/mining experience on machinery such as Backhoe, Skid Steer & Excavator
*Trade qualified as a plumber, refrigerator technician or electrician (highly desirable)
*You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
*Manual Drivers Licence required
*SSE signed skills list/VOCs/RIIs, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
*The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment & Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement
