• $42.08 per hour base rate + penalties

• $10.52 per hour night shift allowance once moved across to night shift

About the Client

Operating since early 2014, our client has a strong focus on delivering traffic infrastructure and electrical reticulation projects throughout Queensland looking after both metropolitan and regional areas. They are currently seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to initially commence on day shift on the Mons Rd upgrade for 6-8 weeks based in Forest Glen on day shift, you will then move across to night shift on the Bruce Highway Smart Motorways upgrade based at Caboolture.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday - Friday commencing at 6.30am working 8-10 hour days. Once you move the the BHSM site you will be required to work Sunday - Thursday commencing at 6.00pm working approximately 8-10 hour nights. There is a minimum of six months' work based on site with the potential to be ongoing with the company. You will be responsible reinforcing safety, monitor quality, drive productivity and overseeing a 3-4 person team. If you have an understanding of TMR specifications, earthworks or concreting it would be an advantage.

What you will need

• Current resume with 2 x work related references

• Construction white card

• Understanding of TMR specifications, MR Licence, EWP ticket & confined spaces ticket preferred

• A minimum of six months experience as a Leading Hand

• Previous experience managing a small crew

• Previous experience working in a civil site

• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to a minimum of six months work
