About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of a Logistics Route Specialist to join our esteemed client's team, based in Banyo. This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week for approximately 6 weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete overhaul of logistics distribution routes

• Optimize delivery and collection routes for maximum efficiency

• Minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and vehicle wear and tear

• Utilize route optimization software for precision planning

• Ensure safety measures are integrated into route planning

• Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth implementation

• Clear communication of changes to minimize disruptions

• Continuous monitoring and adjustment for ongoing optimization

• Documented process with regular reports for management oversight

• Enhance operational effectiveness for improved business outcomes

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in route/distribution remodeling

• Proficiency in route optimization software/tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in route planning

• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transportation

• Adaptability to changing business needs and external factors

• Previous experience in logistics or transportation industry preferred
