What You Will Be Doing:

Our client Rio Tinto is currently seeking motivated individuals who are interested in working in a Rail Safeworking/M5 Protection Officer role. This role is for safety focused individuals who are keen to establish a career within the Rail Network Maintenance team based at 8 Mile in Karratha. At times you will need to be flexible with the occasional night shifts when the team is doing project work. Be able to stay at camps for a few nights when working long distances from Karratha.

You will be called upon to execute Local Protection Authority and Track Protection Authority activities throughout the Rio Tinto Iron Ore network. Undertake task specific safeworking to support the day-to-day track protection requirements for all renewals and maintenance activities.

What You Will Need:

• C Class Drivers Licence

• M5 RTIO Rail Safeworking qualification

• RTIO endorsements are highly regarded

• Ability to pass an Cat 1Rail Medical

• Good understanding of the RTIO Rail Network
