What You Will Be Doing

Are you an experienced M5 Protection Officer looking for a new opportunity? Rio Tinto is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead and execute safeworking activities across their rail network. This role involves ensuring compliance with legislative and company processes, leading multi-contractor obstructions, liaising with stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will evaluate and engage safeworking personnel for compliance through infield interactions, inspections and audits. Manage the engagement and performance of Contract Partners and monitor the quality and standard of safeworking services delivered.

What You Will Need

• C Class Drivers Licence

• M5 RTIO Rail Safeworking qualification (mandatory)

• Minimum 1 years Network Protection (Safeworking Experience)

• Ability to use and maintain administrative systems,eg, HOSDI, Track Schematics

• Internal external auditor - advantageous

• Rail experience, RTIO network advantageous

• Training and Assessors TAE 4110 - advantageous

Ability to pass Rail Safety competency and Medical Assessment for this position
