About the role

WorkPac are currently seeking Manufacturing Operators to assist with the Hose and Bend Area of a mining company based in Welshpool. This position is Monday to Friday, with available Saturday work.

In this role you will be required to manufacture quality product in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Achieve company K.P.I.s through Manufacturing Excellence, 5S, Safety, Quality, planning and inspection in conjunction with leadership and training of relevant manufacturing team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is clean and shutdown after use and the premises secured after hours.

• Constantly evolve all systems and processes to achieve improvements in quality, efficiency and safety.

• Ensure the premise???s plant and equipment is in operating condition to ensure best practice and operating efficiency to 5S Standards.

• Inspection of all products in accordance with the Q.A. system and effective use of I.T.P???s.

• Updating promptly process specifications and ensure processes are followed

• Ensure the plant and its departments are kept clean to 5S Standards, with safety line markings, notices and instructions clearly visible.

Skills & Experience Required

• General Trades Assisting experience

• Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritise tasks through scheduling and resolve conflicts.

• Numeracy and literacy skills

• Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles

• Ability to pass a pre-employment DAS
