Overview:

WorkPac are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters for an 2:1FIFO roster on SA mine site.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

• Perform servicing and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment

• Carry out routine inspections of plant and equipment including preventative measures and
  condition reporting

• Operate in accordance with the Company's Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies,
  procedures and regulatory requirements

• Operate in accordance with the Company's Environment Policy, and comply with other site
  environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirement

• Participate in call outs as required

• General housekeeping of work area and plant in general
  

  Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements
  Essential:

  • Mechanical trade qualifications

  • 5 years post trade mining experience, FIFO preferable

  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience

  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Maintenance business systems (Pronto desirable)

  • EWP and working at heights (Desirable)

  • Confined Space and gas test atmospheres (Desirable)

  • Telehandler, Forklift (Desirable)

  • CN and Dogman (Desirable)
