About the Role

Workpac are seeking mechanical fitter for ongoing work with our Client based at Beresfield, NSW. While prior experience in mechanical or diesel background pump operations is highly advantageous, it is not essential.

What you will be doing:

• Perform dewatering and generator operations within the mining industry.

• Conduct repairs and servicing of diesel engines and diesel-driven pumps.

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and provide detailed reports as required.

What you need:

• Fitter Trade qualification is essential.

• Solid mechanical experience and a strong understanding of mechanical principles.

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Valid driver's license.
