About The Role

WorkPac are seeking a Mine Closure Planning Advisor to support a global leader in the mining sector in rehabilitation and closure planning.

This is a great opportunity for a Rehabilitation & Closure practitioner to provide advice to the business to assess, manage and minimise risks as they relate to Rehabilitation & Closure.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in closure representation on various mining studies.

• Support development of site closure plans to meet project and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure closure aspects are considered in mine planning, design and operation.

• Identify opportunities for progressive rehabilitation.

• Be involved in improvement projects.

• Develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in preparing closure, rehabilitation or environmental management plans for mining operations.

• Strong project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be currently residential in Perth or Peel region and available to work in the CBD.

• Qualifications in Environmental, Biological Science or Engineering.

• Vulcan skill will be advantageous.

• ArcGIS skills essential.
