What You Require

• Aus/NZ Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification (Mandatory).

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.

• Caterpillar & Komatsu System Experience (ET, SIS)

• Mobile Mining Equipment experience

• Valid Manual Driver's Licence

• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS

• Sound knowledge of CAT ET and SIS.

• High Risk Work License qualifications LF, WP, CN, DG (Preferred).

What You Will Be Doing

Our client is seeking Mobile Plant Mechanics who will be focused on the? maintenance and? repair of a variety of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.? Successful candidates must be willing to work within an autonomous and highly organised, fast paced work environment. Our client offers invaluable career exposure within a successful and fast-growing organisation.

Other duties include extensive technical knowledge and expertise conducting diagnosis, testing of Mobile Plant and equipment after repair or assembly, ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, developing parts lists to be ordered utilising relevant manuals, conduct pre task risk assessment and identify adequate hazard control measures, ensure quality Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) are completed for all required tasks in conjunction with applicable Take 5's and Safe Work Instructions (SWI), complete all tasks in compliance with HSE policies and procedures and maintain work areas to a high standard of housekeeping.
