About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Mobilisation Advisor to join our client Rio Tinto in their Sustaining Capital team, working Monday to Friday roster located in Central Park. The successful candidate will have the ability to use initiative, be adaptable to changes and work in a fast-paced environment and strong problem solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Integrated into a Delivery Team, to enable the cross pollination of information between Delivery Teams, Vendors & the Mobilisation Team;

  • Support Delivery Team through the end-to-end mobilisation process, and ensure processes, documentations & milestones are understood and met;

  • An advisor to the Superintendent on mobilisation at a portfolio level including providing clear and concise information to support approvals or decisions that may be required

  • Effective communication & engagement with other functions of the Mobilisation Team to ensure seamless mobilisation and process improvements;

  • Navigate any mobilisation challenges where teams may be impacted by constraint periods or other critical events, this includes forward strategic planning;

  • Facilitate and/or participate in contractor mobilisation to site where additional capacity is required;

  • Developing and leveraging strong working relationships with key internal and external customers to drive continuous improvement;

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Mobilisation

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)

  • Uphold & encourage respectful behaviours and RTIO values of Care Courage and Curiosity

  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders

  • Adapt to different situations and methodically problem solve

  • Strong attention to detail
