MPU Trainee Operator

Job Highlights:

  • 7/7 lifestyle roster

  • 12.5 hour days, $45 per hour

  • Potential to go permanent with client after 6 months

Our Client, leading manufacturer in Explosives is seeking Explosives operators to work at their Project based in the Gunnedah Basin.

What you will be doing:

  • Operating Mobile Processing Units

  • Mobile processing units (MPUs) are purpose-built vehicles that are used in mining operations to manufacture or blend Class 1 bulk explosives at the location of blasting. The MPU delivers the explosive directly into the blast hole via a pump or auger.

What you will need:

  • Ability to undertake Order 43 Medical

  • UHL licence

  • Current police check

  • Drivers licence

  • To be mechanically minded

  • Have a high standard of work safety.
