BMA Daunia Mine, a joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd, is an open-cut coal mine located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, Australia. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Mutli-Skilled Operator at Daunia Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our mining operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. You will be required to work a 7/7 roster rotating days and nights. You will have minimum two of the following skills ??? Grader, Dozer and Water Cart and preferably operated in a Coal Mining environment for 2+ years previously.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely and skilfully operating a variety of machinery on site adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.

• Working in the Load and Haul department on site

• Conducting pre-start checks, routine inspections, and reporting any equipment defects or issues promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 12 months experience as an operator in a mining or heavy industry environment.

• Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).

• Competency in operating Graders - 16M, 18M or 24M, Dozers - D10 or D11, Water Carts
