Offshore HR Administrator
About the Position:
In partnership with our leading global Oil & Gas client, WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator for a full time, fixed term opportunity commencing within their central West Perth Office for their upcoming SCA project.
This role will be fixed term directly with the client, initially 12 months in duration however with opportunities for extension and is an exciting opportunity to work within a multicultural and fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Manager, duties will include however will not be limited to;
Ensure personnel management and administration activities, including drafting of the employment contract are according to national and international laws, labour agreements and trade union agreements
Assist with communication between the Company and Contractors recruitment, approvals from internal stakeholders, internal/external audit assistance, making sure contractors are following internal and client process
Ensuring all employee compliance is up to date for white collar/blue collar personnel
Assist with mobilization of employees including assisting with Site orientations, inductions
Assist with the administration of employee training between our client expectation, contractors and internal approvals required
Ensure the management/recording of attendances/absences of personnel (overtime, sickness, holidays etc.)
Engagement with internal support functions accordingly to the requirements of the project and our contractor queries/issues
Assisting with mobilization of expat crew sailing with SEND and C1 to Australia, visa requirements, compliance, liaising with role company offices
Providing regular communication to internal employees and contractors
Assisting with mobilization/demobilization of crew
Issuance of purchase orders for the crewing department training, transfer, medical tests and related expenses
Administrative support with the crew department
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a HR Administrator/ Officer with prior experience in Pipe-lay Operations, Offshore Projects or Resource Background Highly Regarded
Relevant Tertiary Qualification - Bachelor of Human Resources or Similar
Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screen
