About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop a highly performing third-party warehousing and logistics branch located in Perth. This position will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for directing, controlling and leading sales and operational activities for the branch to optimise and achieve profitability and operational objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and co-ordinate the business objectives, policies, and programs for the Branch within the context of the company's strategic plan

• Contribute to customer acquisition and retention objectives by forming and maintaining relationships with key customers

• Lead, motivate and develop employees within the Branch

• Manage operating costs of the Branch ensuring they are minimised and kept in line with budget

• Facilitate the achievement of company's corporate goals, vision, values

• Adheres to company occupational health, safety, environment, and all business policies set out by our Compliance and operations manager

About You:

• Extensive experience within the Mining, Construction, Fabrication, Maintenance or similar industries

• Logistics and warehousing experience

• Highly developed commercial acumen with a solid understanding of financial reporting requirements and analysis

• 3PL warehousing background (Mandatory)

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to interact with customers and staff at all levels

• Intermediate computer skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Current 'C' class drivers licence

• Full working rights in Australia
