About the Role

We are currently seeking operators for work with a well known Mining Company in Weipa. Available roles below with essential requirements. These opportunities exist for local residents only who will contribute to the successful operations of this mine site.

2 x Operators for the dry season campaign working on Weipa civil roads (approx. April - Dec) with Semi Trailer HC drivers licence

2 x Operators for Andoom works oversize - Excavator and/or Moxy experience.

2 x Operators for Andoom works - Civil experience in any 1 or all of the following: backhoe, skid loader, drum roller, multi wheel roller, civil water carts, grader, scraper. Heavy mine exp haul trucks, loaders dozers etc well regarded also.

Duties and Responsibilities

Training in mobile plant equipment on a mine site

Maintain high standard of housekeeping on equipment

Communicate with other operators and assist in traffic management

Skills/Experience

Current valid drivers licence

A medical including drug and alcohol testing is required as part of the recruitment process

Must be reliable and have a strong commitment to safety

G1 Certificate - Apply Risk Management Processes

Candidate please note that the on-boarding process for these roles will be structured and will be required to undertake skills testing, interview, pre-employment medicals and drug and alcohol testing.
