ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Anglo American together with WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Underground Fitters to join the team at their Moranbah North operation. We are proud to be able to offer fantastic remuneration, long term work opportunities and immediate starts. You will be joining an Industry leading Operation where you will be able to bring your previous experience to the next level.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this role you will be working as an Outbye Fitter on an underground coal mine based near Moranbah. You will be responsible for mobile break testing and fitting wheel assemblies onto mobile plant machinery. You will be working a day shift only 5/4 lifestyle roster working 12-hour shifts. These roles are ongoing and are available for DIDO and residential to Moranbah candidates.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Previous experience working as a Diesel Fitter within an underground coal mining environment.

• You will be required to hold a current underground Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• You must hold a current a DES Course

• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.

• The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement.
