About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced Pit Controllers to work with the team at Rio Tinto based on site. The successful candidate will work an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth for a 12 month duration.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conduct traffic management within the AHS active mining area, inclusive of escorting, traffic management plan development and implemented, construction and project support.

• Coordinating and communicating traffic management between the Project Team and Mining Operations Team.

• Coordinate safe In Pit traffic management on behalf of the Project Team.

• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that all traffic management is conducted safely.

• Understand and communicate In Pit access requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Current "C Class" manual drivers licence

• Mining and Operation Experience

• Rigid Haul truck competency, grader or wheel loader

• Excellent communication skills

• Practical problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in high pressure environments

• Strong safety values

• Traffic management experience -desirable

• RTIO Experience in Operational Space (AHS) - desirable
