What you will be doing:

Based in Clontarf you will learn everything that is integral to the manufacturing of rail-based products as well as repairs. You will get to learn and understand how things work within the business. Some of these tasks include:

• Overhead operations - Moving Rail or Glued Insulated Rail Joints

• Shotblasting - Shot blasting steel rail and steel fishplates

• Assembling - Assembling Glued Insulated Rail Joints

• Rail Cutting - Using Bi-metal Bandsaw to cut raw material

• Thermabond Cut/Punch - Cutting and punching holes in insulation materials using pneumatic ram

• Fishplate Dressing - Grinding steel fishplates to smooth finish, stamping serial numbers on ends.

• Cold Bore Expansion - Using a petrol-powered tool to pre-stress rail holes

• Kit Packing - Packing components for shipping to customers

What you will need:

• Forklift tickethighly desirable

• Drivers Licence with reliable transport

• A willingness to learn and grow

• Ability to commit to consistent work

• Previous manufacturing experience highly valued
