About the Company

As a market leader manufacturer of steel products for the mining, building and electrical industries, they are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their growing team in a Permanent role.

What you will be doing

As the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of up to 40 workers, including Boilermakers and Welders. The Production Supervisor position will be instrumental in managing, motivating, and developing a committed production team while ensuring that quality standards and the production schedule are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure OH&S standards are always complied with

• Ensure product compliance to our Quality Management System

• Lead a team and drive conformity to the production schedule

• Drive continual improvement in the production process (Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, Cost and Delivery)

• Liaise with key stakeholders to support raw materials and component deliveries to contractors

• Assist with mentoring and supervising

What you will need

• Previous experience working with sheet metal and completing welding tasks

• Proven supervisory or management experience

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• You must be comfortable working in a diverse and dynamic environment

• You must be willing to work to flexible hours where required

• Driver's licence + reliable transport
