About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a position with Rio Tinto based in Tom Price, offering FIFO 5:2, 4:3 roster.

What you will be doing:

• Development of Project budgets, plans and schedules and supporting business case and cost-benefit analyses where required;

• Engage with and coordinate stakeholders during the execution of work;

• Consult with and manage external consultants and contractors, ensuring works are completed within scope and safely meets the requirements of the project;

• Provide technical input to problem solving and design of engineering solutions;

• Track and regularly update on project progress and ensure and projects at risk have corrective actions implemented.

What you need:

• Qualification or degree in Project Management and/or Engineering;

• Previous substantial experience in all aspects of the Project Lifecycle;

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels and aspects of Projects;

• Understanding of technical, commercial & contractual aspects of project management;

• Demonstrated experience in negotiation and influencing with internal and external departments and contractors;

• High level attention to detail and ability to produce relevant documentation

• Right to Work in Australia

• Drivers Licence - C class at minimum with no restrictions
