About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with experience in Fixed Plant, this role will be overlooking small to medium capital projects on a 5:2 located at Perth.
Duties:
Project manage a number of mid size fixed plant materials handling projects which will enable different ore bodies to be processed through existing processing plants at Rio Tinto's Brockman operations.
Establishing the project teams
Utilising the Sustaining Capital project procedures to move the projects through the stages Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, Implementation and Close Out.
Collecting Ore Body Knowledge and using this to develop optimum design solutions for fixed plant conveyors and chutes, solutions which are able to be retrofitted to an operating plant
Creating an accurate Project Budget
Creating a Project Schedule to meet required business deadlines
Forecasting Cash flow
Coordinating technical queries through the design team
Reviewing construction methodology and tender documentation
Reporting progress to multiple stakeholders
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, the candidate will have:
5-10 years project managing materials handling projects in the mining industry
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and be driven to achieve results
Manual C Driver's License
