About the Role:

WorkPac, an Australian owned and operated recruitment solutions provider has a long term contract with our leading mining client based at Olympic Dam Mining Operation. Under the arrangement WorkPac will provide Industrial and Professional employees to help drive productivity and growth for South Australia's biggest long term mining operation. We are currently looking for a Project Manager Strategy Management.The Maintenance Strategy Management role is Adelaide Office based on a 5/2 roster, with frequent site travel for the first few months to become familiar with equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong safety values by supporting the Field Leadership program to lead continuous safety improvement and performance

• Review and report on equipment performance results to support Maintenance team(s) focusing on the correct priorities.

• Originates and develops analysis methods to determine maintenance demands for components, equipment and processes.

• Identify and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives / Projects to improve MTBF and Equipment Availability.

• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance execution teams.

• Determine cost advantages of alternative solutions and develop action plans that comply with demands for safe, efficient and effective Maintenance & Repair.

• Consider impact of costs on recommended action plans for avoiding / correcting problems during the design phase or remedial action for correcting key Unscheduled

• Downtime drivers.

Key Requirements:

• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and the community.

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent trade &

• industry experience to support the role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical

• solutions

• Ability to influence, engage with & communicate effectively across multiple levels,

• business units and functional areas from frontline employees to senior management

• Ideally you will have experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in the

• Fixed Plant Processing field

• Working knowledge and understanding of SAP & Microsoft Office systems is highly

• desirable

• Excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks.

• Experience with Master Data and Maintenance Strategy reviews (preferred)

• Exposure to and understanding of Registrable Plant (preferred, but not essential)
