Receptionist
WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service professional to join our Client for a fulltime position based in Morningside QLD.
The receptionist is responsible for providing high quality customer service when greeting clients and visitors in person and over the phone as well as facilitating all aspects of customer service, ensuring the reception area is professionally maintained and visitors are dealt with proficiently. The receptionist is also responsible for providing administrative support across the organisation in an effective, efficient and professional manner
ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES
Professional attitude and high standard of communication when liaising with colleagues and external parties
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision
Maintain an updated procedure guide for all reception policies and procedures MAIN FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls and handling general enquiries
Collect, process and distribute daily mail, Organise courier services
Enter supplier invoices onto invoice registers
Banking and petty cash, including reconciliations
Schedule motor vehicle services and organise travel arrangements for employees
Maintain the reception, kitchen area, meeting rooms and general cleaning, restocking and ordering of staff amenities and stationary supplies
Monitor the usage of all office stationery and maintain adequate stock levels
Maintain the kitchen areas including general cleaning, re-stocking and ordering staff amenities
Management of cleaning, mechanical, clerical and general maintenance services
Monitor and order purchase order, daily time sheet and testing books
Communicate with internal and external contacts in a friendly professional manner
Filing and archiving
Ensure Team Leader is up to date with any relevant issues
Assist accounts receivable, accounts payable and all staff members with administration duties when required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
Self-motivated, methodical, well presented with a professional, confident and friendly image
Analytical skills including the ability to assess problems, propose solutions and implement them
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload including the ability to manage conflicting work demands and meet deadlines
Personal and people management abilities including team building and conflict resolution
Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products
