About The Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Reliability Engineer with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) experience to join a dynamic and diverse team based at the biggest Iron Ore operation for Rio Tinto Iron Ore in WA.

The successful Reliability Engineer will join the Asset Management & Engineering Services (AMES) team at Greater Brockman Operations in the Pilbara. Working on a FIFO 4/3 roster, you will champion defect elimination and reliability engineering processes in order to improve asset reliability and integrity for the Heavy Mobile and Ancillary equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct high level root cause analysis (RCA) for asset failures using Asset Performance Management software.

• Analyse Equipment performance data to successfully identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

• Recommend and implement tactics designed to support high levels of asset safety, reliability and integrity.

• Provide technical engineering support to site maintenance departments.

• Execute both technical based projects derived to improve the performance of our fleet.

• Monitor and analyse the performance of our assets and analyse primary/secondary maintenance tasks to improve asset reliability and cost.

• Actively create Zero Based Budgets for Mobile Equipment.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.

• Able to work collaboratively across a diverse range of stakeholders and operational teams.

• Experience leading continuous improvement activities.

• Experience is SAP, Wave, Momentum and APM will be advantageous.

• Practical experience and an understanding of reliability concepts â FMECA, RCM, etc.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.

• Current and valid manual âC Classâ driver's license.
