Our Client has been an international subsurface engineering solution provider for the last 30 years in the tunnelling contracting industry.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking Labourers/Rigger to join the WORM (Western Outer Ring Main) Project for 3-4 months. The WORM Project is a high pressure, buried gas transmission pipeline, approximately 51 kilometres long, which will provide a new connection between existing pipelines at Plumpton in Melbourne's west and Wollert in the north. The project also includes an upgrade to the existing compressor station at Wollert.

Duties and Responsibilities

Following Client's direction on site

Installing and connecting sewer/pipe tunnels

Dogman/Rigging work (if ticketed)

Be able to work unsupervised

Follow our Client's OH&S and COVID-19 policies on site

Skills and Experience

Previous experience working in Civil Construction is a must (if you have worked on projects like Melbourne Water, Yarra Valley even better!)

Previous micro tunnelling boring, directional drilling experience (advantage)

Dogman/rigger ticket/experience

Welding experience (advantage)

Must have a White Card

Must provide either a COVID-19 Vaccine Immunisation History Statement/Certificate OR a valid Medical Exemption Letter

Must have Full Working Rights in Australia

Be physically fit and able to pass to D&A test

Must be able to provide 2 previous work reference
