Intermediate to Advanced Riggers

• $45.00- 46.25 p/hr +penalties + super + RDO per month

• Kwinana location / Monday - Friday.

• Family friendly work schedule, be home every night.

About the role:

Working on the construction of the Kwinana Lithium Plant.

Working Monday to Thursday 6:15am -5pm, Fridays 6:15am -3pm. This locally based role is expected to be completed in 12- 18 months, working Monday - Friday, with an early finish at 3pm on Friday's. There is onsite parking provided and you will receive one RDO per month.

Duties involved:

Assist with dual lifts and mathematical assessment

Align level and anchor machinery

Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving using hand and power tools

Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps

Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chainfalls, gin poles and gallows frames

Dismantle and store rigging equipment

Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gear using hand and power tools

Update rigging register

Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task

Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required

Advanced Riggers ticket - RA

First Aid & CPR (preferred)

Drivers licence

Working at heights

EWP

Confined Space (preferred)

Dogging

White Card

Ability to pass full PEM and DAS
