Mechanical Trade Assistant

12 month Casual Position - Greater Mackay Region

Installing, repair and maintenance of wash plant screens

$45.00 per hour - flat rate - Rostered work mainly Monday to Thursday

Travel from Mackay on Monday's to various mine locations

Onsite work, travel and accommodation provided

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking suitably experienced and motivated Mechanical Trade Assistants to join our Clients team on a casual basis to work in the Mackay region..!

As an experienced and skilled Mechanical Trade Assistant, you must be reliable, safety conscious, punctual and physically fit.

Duties and Responsibilities

Mechanical maintenance

Installing, repair and maintenance of wash plant screens

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with guidelines and criteria

Demonstrate adherence to planned work schedules relating to the maintenance and repairs

Skills and Experience

Trade assistant experience

Mechanical maintenance skills

Confined Space and Working at Heights

Drivers Licence

CBM, Standard 11

Other trade related tickets will be advantageous
