Our client is a is an Australian owned company providing asset maintenance, fabrication, mechanical overhaul, site construction/installation and maintenance support to the mining, construction, oil & gas, minerals processing, rail, and manufacturing sectors.

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator for an full time, permanent opportunity based within Yeppoon servicing the greater QLD region. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team of construction personnel with highly competitive remuneration packages will be available for the successful applicant dependent upon skills and experience.

Requirements of the Position Include:

• Registration as a Mining Surveyor under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002

• Minimum of five yearsâ experience in the survey control of open cut mines.

• Strong focus on safety.

• Proven ability to manage people.

• Computer Skills (using Maptek software systems, Pix4D and Klau highly desirable)

• Experience with Drone and GPS systems for survey.

• Strong understanding of relevant mining legislation and industry practice.

• Familiarity with machine guidance systems.

• Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
