What you will be doing:

We are currently looking for Sentries, Trade Assistants and Elevated Work Platform Spotters for shutdowns and scheduled maintenance work to join our team, commencing from Late August - Start of September. Providing support to processing and underground work areas at Olympic Dam Mining Site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sentries: Monitoring and Gas Testing confined space areas

• Trade Assistants: Working in confined spaces, general work area maintenance, hosing

• EWP Spotters:/Operators: Support EWP work as either a spotter or operator

• Ability to: Read, Understand, Develop and Implement quality work instructions and permits to work

• Quality control driven with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work in a team and autonomously

• Adhering to on-site safe work systems.

What you will need:

• Current nationally accredited Gas Test Atmosphere Certificate (MSMWHS2 Gas Test Atmospheres, MSMPER202 Observe Permit Work, MSMPER200 Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit) or Willing to Obtain

• Current nationally accredited Confined Space (RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces) or Willing to Obtain

• Current nationally accredited Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights) or Willing to Obtain

• HRWL - EWP - TLILIC0005 Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (11metres or more) or Willing to Obtain

• Current C Class Drivers Licence Preferred

• Previous Mine Site or Similar Experience Would be an advantage

• Local accommodation required, as limited camp availability

• Successful applicants will be subject to ongoing Fitness for Work testing.
