About the Client

Our client is an Australian commercial construction and fit out company with a proven track record of completing large-scale, multi-site projects for some of Australia's largest businesses. They provide full turnkey and tailored construction and project management services for many national names in the retail, clothing, health and hospitality industries across Australia and New Zealand. They are currently seeking shop fitters for ongoing works within major shopping centres across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work 8-10-hour days from Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday required. You will be responsible for transforming the interiors of offices, shops, restaurants, bars and more. Your duties will include;

- mark out and cut wood, metal, glass and plastic to make units and fittings

- estimate material quantities and costs

- prepare or follow design plans

- measure and set out jobs on site

- install units, frames and shopfronts with hand and power tools

- work with other tradespeople on site

What you will need

- Trade Certificate (Shop Fitting or Carpentry)

- Previous Shop Fitting/Fit Out experience

- Construction White Card

- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
