Site Coordinator
About the Role:
In partnership with our leading international renewable energy client, WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Site Coordinator based within Kojonup or FIFO from Perth. This contract will be commencing immediately through till May 2024 on a Monday to Saturday roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Schedule progress and monitoring with Site Manager
Work Performance assessment with Site Manager and Contractor Management
Perform safety inspection ensure that the measure reflected on the SMWS are implemented on the field.
Management of Site Supervisor activities
Pencil copy approval for the payment with the support of Site Supervisors
NCR validation before their issuing by SM, agree with the quality coordinator.
Weekly follow up on the deliveries with the Material Supervisor
Weekly follow up on the QCPs with the Quality Controller
Weekly follow up on HSEQ reports with the SITE MANAGER and HSEQ EGP manager
Participation in the teams to create and check\close the punch lists and their validation
Ensuring, with support of Safety and Environment Manager, the implementation of safety and hygiene provisions in the workplace and environmental protection, in compliance with local legislation. Perform safety inspection ensure that the measure reflected on the SMWS are implemented on the field
Coordinating personnel on site and contractors during the execution of construction and assembly activities, evaluating the construction techniques and detailed construction programmes issued by Suppliers/Contractors ensuring their compliance with the Construction Time-schedule.
Performing reporting activities, detailing site works progress activities and criticalities in terms of schedule and budget.
Managing relations and meetings at a site level with representative of Suppliers and Contractors, keeping the Site Manager informed.
In case of measurement contracts, with the support of site supervisor, evaluate quantities of materials and components used on site and related costs, providing the forecast to completion on monthly basis.
Assure the correct implementation of Quality Control Plan related to construction activities, with the support of Quality controller, Site Discipline Supervisors and Operational Excellence Engineer
Skills and Experience:
Relevant Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
Experience of at least 5 years in this role or equivalent
Experience in the construction of power plants and/or HV/MV substations
In depth knowledge of industrial construction practices, power plant construction activities, planning, contract management, environmental and safety requirements.
Proficiency in coordinating contractors and in monitoring their performances in the areas safety, quality, environmental compliance, schedule and costs. comprehensive understanding of contract administration and construction risk management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project).
Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered a plus.
Knowledge of local codes and standard about main technical aspects of civil constructions, electrical standards, constructions safety, environmental, authorizations by local Authorities.
Current C Class Drivers License and Own Transport and White Card- Construction Induction
