About the Position:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Site Supervisor to work with our local construction Client based in Welland, SA. Our client are well established in commercial construction, specialising in the convenience sector, particularly in the construction of Fast-Food Restaurants, Child Care Facilities and Service Station outlets. We require a Site Supervisor on a full-time basis with a minimum of five (5) years proven experience in supervising construction sites from inception through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site OHS documentation, carry out site inductions and abide by HS&W Act & Building Code.

• Co-ordinate, supervise, manage and integrate the work of consultants, tradespersons and contractors.

• Respond to queries from suppliers / subcontractors in conjunction with the Project Manager.

• Preparation of long and short-range construction programs in conjunction with Managers.

• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality control. Have a keen eye for detail and a high standard of quality management.

Skills and Experience:

• All relevant licenses / certificates pertaining to the Building industry.

• Must have a current driverâs licence and police clearance.

• Reliable, punctual, positive attitude and excellent work ethics.

• A good level of computer literacy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills. Be confident and diplomatic in resolving any issues that may arise.

• Be able to read and interpret plans and specifications accurately.

• Have a thorough understanding of building methodologies, HSW Act, Legislation and Building Codes, Standards.

• You must have full working rights to apply for this position and be an Australian resident.
