About the Role

WorkPac is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Profile Cutting Machine Operator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC profile cutting machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC profile cutting machines to cut, shape, and fabricate metal parts.

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and sequences of operations.

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments based on job requirements.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced.

• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

• Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience operating CNC profile cutting machines or similar equipment.

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and equipment.

• Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC software.

• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Forklift ticket preferred but not essential.

• Valid driver's licence required.
