WorkPac are seeking an experienced Spray Painter to commence at a local role in Paget. The ideal candidate will have experience painted a variety of surfaces and the application of customized paint as well as using power tool and assisting with general Trades Assistant duties.

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter to commence at a local role in Paget. You will be working in an ongoing role in Mackay.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials

• Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting

• Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula

• Ensure facility and spray painting equipment are in good working condition

• The ability to work independently and safely in a fast paced environment.

• Also work well with others in a team environment.

• Be able to solve problems on the go

• Able to us a variety of powertools

Skills and Experience:

• Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent

• Forklift ticket is advantageous.

• Current Driver's Licence

• Right to work within Australia
