About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join Rio Tinto Dampier Salt. Perth based with ad-hoc site travel on a monthly basis. Monday to Friday, 6 months with possible extensions.

Duties include:

• Leading and managing the structural integrity program for Junior Structural and Civil Engineering

• SME for the Structural and Civil disciplines across the client's business unit

• Setting up our structural maintenance programs for 2022

• Setting and consulting on scopes for large scale and small-scale maintenance works

• Ownership of structural standards

Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualifications in Structural Engineering or similar

• 5-10 years experience in Structural Engineering

• Mining industry experience

• Familiarity with fixed plant structural assets

• Leadership experience

• Experience with structural integrity programs

• Experience with structural projects refurbishment and maintenance, replacements of structural assets.

• WA C Class Drivers Licence
