ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client produces and exports the highest quality hard coking coal, which is used in steel production for critical building and infrastructure around the world.

Along side Anglo American, WorkPac are Recruiting for several roles at Dawson Mine. From Trades to Plant Operation. Dawson Mine is an open cut metallurgical coal mine operation made up of three operating pits North, Central and South.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be an experienced Support Shotfirer with 2 plus years experience in this or a similar role with a background in Drill and Blast operations within the Coal Sector. You will be required to have your ASIO Police Check, Shotfirer Ticket or RII Support Shotfiring Operations or be willing obtain this prior to starting on site. This will be a day shift only roster with the exception of the Summer months where some nights will be required at this time. You will be worked 12 hours shifts with the Drill and Blast team on site. There are monthly attendance bonuses based on production targets of site.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• ASIO Police Check, Shotfirer Ticket or RII Support Shotfiring Operations - or willing to obtain

• Great attitude towards safety and team culture

• Hold or be willing to attain a Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical

• Current Drivers Licence & Right to Work in Australia
