About the Role:
The Ecology Technician Yellow Crazy Ant delivers the on-ground works for the management of Yellow Crazy Ants in accordance with the Yellow Crazy Ant Management Program. The position works within a small team of Ecology Technicians and is supported and led by the Crew Leader Yellow Crazy Ant.
Key Responsibilities:
Keeping the customer at the heart of all activities, this position will: -
Carry out specialist natural area and waterway management including revegetation works, habitat management, fire management, waterway management, water quality monitoring, litter collection, weed management, soil assessment, erosion and sediment control, emergency response (fish kills/oil spills), propagation techniques, wildlife management (bat dispersals and monitoring).
