About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Technology Specialist to join the high performing Mining Technology Delivery team within the RTIO Sustaining Capital division. The successful applicant will be responsible for technology deployments of certain technologies such as Autonomous Drill Systems across Rio Tintos Pilbara mining operations. This is a fly in fly out role (4:3 roster) however travel will be required consistent with the phase of project delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for deployment of mining technologies such as Autonomous Drill Systems across RTIO Pilbara operations

• Provide regular consult and inputs into project schedules across multiple projects

• Responsible for relevant testing and commissioning works

• Responsible for specialist level QA/QC

Skills & Experience Required:

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• A can do attitude and proven ability to scope and solve problems

• Relevant technical qualifications

• 5 years technical experience in; Engineering (control systems, mechatronics, electrical), Mining (Operations Readiness or Production Engineering)and Operational Technology (OT)

• Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently

• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
