About our Client

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

What You Will Be Doing

• All skills will be taught on the job and will lead towards a Cert II and Cert III in Rail infrastructure

• Operating Rail Maintenance machinery such as High Rail Excavator

• Re-railing, resurfacing, sleeper changes, welding operations and other associated tasks to do with track maintenance

• Vehicle loading, unloading, handling equipment & machinery

• Reporting faults to supervision as identified

• Comply with health and safety requirements

Skills & Experience

• C Class Drivers Licence

• Must be a physical fit individual able to withstand working in a hot climate and hot working environment, this role will involve working in remote areas.

• Right work ethic and motivation to learn

• Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical
