About the Client:

Our client is Australiaâs largest rail freight operator. Each year, they transport more than 250 million tonnes of Australian commodities â connecting miners, primary producers and industry with international and domestic markets.

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced rail labourers to carry out a variety of tasks at our clients Port Kembla Coal Terminal.

The successful applicant will be meeting with the client at their depot and then travel to the work site together.

Rosters â 2:2 (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

Shifts:

Afternoons â 12pm to 6pm

â 4pm to 10pm

Pay rate: $36.10 p/h

This would suit someone who is looking for extra shifts from their current roles.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Using handheld vibrator units and air lances to help dislodge coal hang-ups from the clients wagons.

• All general labouring duties as directed by the client.

• Following clients direction on site.

• Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site.

Skills/Experience:

• Must be able to provide your COVID vaccine certificate OR medical exemption certificate

• Will need either RISI or SARC ticket/qualification

• Have a current CAT 3 Rail Safety Medical (or be willing to get one)

• BlueScope Induction (preferred not essential)

• Have full working rights in Australia (not suitable for Student Visas)

• Have your own car and PPE

• Be able to commit to clientâs working roster
