About the Role
We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Warehouse Leading hand at the Wilpinjong mine near Mudgee. The mine is an open-cut mine located 50 kilometres northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
In this role you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and inventory to deliver adequate supply of parts to the maintenance and operations team.
What you will be doing
In support of the Warehouse Supervisor, provide ongoing leadership and mentoring to the Warehouse team.
Routine management of cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained and SOX compliance is achieved.
Routine management of Rotatable and Repairable materials to ensure optimal stock availability.
Perform core function duties associated with routine running of the warehouse as required; e.g. Receipt, Dispatch, Reservation Management etc
Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and provide constructive feedback to peers on a regular basis.
Acting Supervisor duties as required.
What you need:
The successful candidate must have a current Driver's License and Forklift Ticket along with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Warehouse Operator/Leading Hand within a maintenance warehouse environment.
The following skills are also required:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Microsoft Office
SAP experience (desirable but not required)
Experience in accounting software & ERP systems
Demonstrated history of providing high level customer service
S1,2,3 (desirable but not required)
Successful candidate will have a positive attitude with a continuous improvement approach to the workplace and motivated to achieve.
