Warehouse Operator- MUST HAVE HIGH REACH FL EXPERIENCE

The Warehouse Operator component takes ownership and accountability for the timely delivery of orders, is proactive in managing stock control, takes responsibility for the operation of the warehouse, and pulls together to help the Branch and the business succeed. Using a practical and organised approach throughout their duties, this role ensures we are meeting our customer needs and providing an exceptional experience.

Warehouse Operator role;
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design plan, recommending improvements
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews,quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Manage delivery pick up and drop off times
- Notification of all goods inwards to the relevant staff members
- Maintain knowledge of stock levels to assist with audit processes
- Lead all stock audit processes on-site (organized by Operations Manager)
- Secure warehouse by turning alarms on, testing systems.
- Be an advocate for workplace health and safety standards

Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years experience in a picking/packing warehouse
- Experience taking ownership and responsibility for warehouse processes and success
- Practical knowledge and experience of stock control
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively time manage tasks & priorities
- Experience with customer interaction, understanding customer needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Accurate data entry and reporting skills
- Highly organised
- Dependable and driven
- High risk forklift license - high reach exp
- Drivers licence
