About the Client

A well-established company operating throughout the Metal Recycling industry, our client is looking to expand their current team in Rocklea. The company provides customized recycling services to meet individual needs of commercial and industrial scrap metal producers. They are seeking a candidate with experience as a Weight Bridge Attendant.

What you will be doing

As a Weigh Bridge Attendant, you will be required to work 6:30am -4:20pm (Monday to Friday) with the occasional Saturdays however this would be rare. You will be responsible for the following;

Duties

• Checking and logging drivers' details as they come in and out of the site

• Weighing trucks when they arrive and leave

• Updating records on computer systems

• Answering phone enquiries

• Cash handling

• Dealing with other administrative tasks

What you will need

• High level of attention to detail

• Previous experience handling cash

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge of trucks (ideally previous experience in the transport industry)

• Strong reliability
