About McArthur Mine
McArthur mine is located in the Northern Territory, about 700km from Darwin and is the world?s second largest zinc and lead deposit. A 1.5 hour charter flight from Darwin will land you at the foot of the mine site and camp facilities.

What will you do?
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing mining equipment including Caterpillar Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Watercarts, as well as Liebherr Excavators and Komatsu equipment
Inspect defective equipment in workshop or Pit to determine extent of wear or damage and plan repairs as required
Inspect Equipment prior to releasing back to the client to ensure quality of repairs
Supervise the execution of the weekly maintenance schedule
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Supply accurate information back to the maintenance planning team Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance plan where required

What do you need?
Trade qualified
Mining experience advantageous
Proven experience as maintenance supervisor
Strong technical knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr mining equipment
Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
Proven leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Ability to pass pre-employment medical (D testing)
