WorkPac are the Whitsunday Voices Literary Dinner Partner for the 2nd year running

The dinner is part of the Youth Literature Festival which is run for students, parents and educators in the Mackay region.

 Australia’s largest privately-owned recruitment company WorkPac are proud to once again be partnering with the Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival through the WorkPac Mackay office to present the Literary Dinner.

The Youth Literature Festival, now in its 15th year running, is a key part of the Mackay Festival of Arts program and focuses on creating a fun and engaging environment for students in the region to connect with reading and literature.

The festival runs over two days from Thursday the 19th of July to Friday the 20th of July, and includes various events and a variety of presenters, including award winning authors, a slam poet, a gamer, a blogger and a literary agent

Held on the final day of the Festival, the literary dinner allows guests to meet some of these presenters in a more informal environment, with guest speaker Jennifer Byrne giving a keynote speech on the evening.

Mr Darian Lawson, the Business Centre Manager of WorkPac Mackay, is proud to once again be sponsoring the event, this year making a $13,000 donation.
