ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking 2 HV Electricians who have the skills and experience to execute defect rectification, conduct breakdown and preventative maintenance on the sites infrastructure and High Voltage reticulation network, and other duties relevant to the role as required.

Two roles available; one 7/7 FIFO DS only and the second 4/3 DIDO Monday to Thursday DS only, both reporting through to the Infrastructure Maintenance Supervisor.

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production processing requirements. This is a drive-in drive-out (DIDO) and fly-in fly-out (FIFO) site in the Isaac region situated 15 minutes from Moranbah.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.

It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful you will have a minimum of 12 months demonstrated mining experience and hold a minimum qualification of Electrician - Qld Electrical Licence together with experience in Industrial/ Commercial Electrical Installation and Maintenance, to be verified by a signed SSE/ Delegate signed skills list.

• Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
